Investor readiness checklist

Written with:Duet Partners logo

What's an investor-ready checklist, and when do you need one?

Use this template as an anchor point to test how ready you are to engage with investors and what else you might need to consider.

It’s helpful to share the checklist and your notes on it with relevant team members and anyone helping you to work through the various elements on the list. It’s great as a living record, for capturing your latest thinking and for attaching/uploading any relevant supporting materials (e.g. list of investor targets, spreadsheets, drafts of pitch decks in progress, HMRC clearances, etc).

What else might you need?

Check out our video guide to getting investor ready for more background and helpful materials.

And if you’re looking for help decrypting the jargon and acronyms that institutional investors especially like to use, you’ll find a neat explanation of these in that guide too.

While we can connect you with some very fine advisers in the UK, and we collaborate with them to provide you with great materials, Farillio itself is not a law firm. We do not directly provide legal advice ourselves. All resources are available for you to use (according to our terms and conditions), but those resources are not legal advice to you and neither are they a substitute for you taking legal advice from a lawyer.
